Lytham Windmill and the Harvest Moon

I may add to this post a bit more over the next week, but am away for a few days and wanted to get something up on the website before I left.

Some photos below from a stunning evening of photography on the night of the Harvest Moon. In truth I almost gave up and went home when I got to Lytham – but so glad I didn’t! Fortune favours the brave as they say!

As footnote, it sometimes pays to be quick when processing your images. I was pretty pleased with the leading photo in this blog, so processed it quickly when I got home that evening. Within an hour it was captioned, key-worded and uploaded onto Alamy’s News library. Was online in several newspapers the next morning and ended up being a half-page spread in the Telegraph the next day!

Thanks for looking,

Andrew.
